Das Labor ist mit zwei konfokalen hochauflösenden Raman-Spektrometern zur Untersuchung fluider und fester Proben (Einzelpunkt- und Linien-Analysen sowie zwei- und dreidimensionale Raman-Bildgebung) sowohl bei Raumtemperatur und –druck als auch in einem weiten Bereich von Druck-Temperatur-Bedingungen ausgestattet.
Verfügbare Probenumgebungen sind drei Linkam-Kühl-/Heiztische und zwei hydrothermale Diamantstempelzellen.
