IGFS is a unified “umbrella” IAG service, which: (i) Coordinates collection, validation, archiving and dissemination of gravity field related data (ii) Coordinates courses, information materials and general public outreach relating to the earth’s gravity field, (iii) Unifies gravity products for the needs of GGOS – the Global Geodetic Observing System. IAG Services coordinated by IGFS are (1) the Bureau Gravimetrique International, (2) the International Centre of Global Earth Models (ICGEM), (3) the International Digital Elevation Models Service (IDEMS), (4) the International Geodynamics and Earth Tide Service (IGETS), and (5) the International Service for the Geoid (ISG).
