The Operational Support Group of the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program, ICDP, situated at GFZ, provides downhole logging services and access to utilize the ICDP instrument pool for PIs of successful ICDP proposals. ICDP is a proposal-driven international program to support multinational research teams with a critical need for continental scientific drilling. Deadline for proposal submission to ICDP is each year on January 15. PIs are encouraged to contact ICDP as soon as they know for a concrete need for equipment or services which then will be offered on first come – first serve basis. The tools and services provided by ICDP OSG are part of the Modular Earth Science Infrastructure (MESI) at GFZ.
